I'm Laura. These figures are drawn from real weddings and an open process
I've been working in hospitality, events and weddings for over thirty years — first in the UK, then France and for the last fourteen years running French Wedding Company near Bordeaux. I've personally planned over 131 multi-day weddings across France, and walked through more than 300 venues along the way.
The figures here come from weddings I planned this year, kept current through ongoing price checking for every budget. Not industry averages, not aspirational estimates, not what a venue's marketing pack says — and not tied to any one supplier. I've planned weddings for every budget, and I've never worked from packages, fixed prices or fixed suppliers - everything is sourced, built and planned from scratch, around the couple in front of me. There will always be variations and part of the process is understanding why and how they affect you. How long does it take?

Is this just for couples at the start of planning?
It's most useful before you begin seriously looking at venues — but couples at any stage will find the figures and framework valuable. If you've already booked, it's still worth knowing how the budget structure works.
Is this for me if I'm planning a home wedding?
Absolutely. Whether you're marrying at a chateau, a winery or in your own garden, you still need to understand what your day will actually cost. A home wedding has its own cost shape — you save on the venue hire, but the categories underneath (marquee, kitchen and power hire, loos, lighting, insurance, supplier travel and accommodation) often look quite different to a purpose-built venue. The framework in this course works for both — it just helps you see where your money is going and where the gaps tend to sit.

Once you submit your completed workbook, I personally review your numbers, add my own notes, and send it back within 2‑3 business days (Monday to Friday). It's still not a guarantee — your actual figures will evolve as you get real quotes from real suppliers — but it's built from your own answers and checked by someone who's planned over 131 real weddings, not a generic calculator.
What format is it delivered in?
Five short videos and interactive workbook are accessible immediately after purchase. Once complete you'll be invited to submit the workbook through a link and my own notes come back to you by email, within 2-3 business days
How long until I get my personalised budget back?
Within 2-3 business days of your submitting your completed workbook. I review every one personally, Monday to Friday - I don't work weekends (everyone needs a bit of time off ;) ). So anything submitted Friday evenings is picked up Monday morning.
Is there a trial period? Can I get a refund if I don't complete it?
There is no trial period, and I don't offer refunds. The videos and workbook are delivered to you in full the moment you buy and your personalised budget follows once you submit your completed workbook — whether you work through them is up to you. If you'd like to ask anything before you decide, please do email me first.

What do I need to access the videos and workbook?
You will will be invited to set up a login on my French Wedding Company online platform. You should be able to access everything on your desktop, laptop or mobile phone. The videos are prerecorded and the workbook is an interactive document you complete with your own figures. Once it's done, click the link provided to submit it and I'll personally review it and send your personalised budget back with 2-3 working days. No extra software or AI tools needed your end.
